In the oil and gas industry, coiled tubing, as a long metal pipe that can be laid continuously, is gradually expanding its application to various complex operating scenarios, especially in downhole construction, chemical injection and remote control systems. Compared with traditional straight pipes, coiled tubing has outstanding system advantages in terms of installation convenience, sealing optimization and cost control, so it is widely deployed in high temperature, high pressure and corrosive harsh working conditions. At the same time, it is also widely used in chemical and instrumentation industries with high precision requirements.

Among many materials, coiled tubing with N08825 specifications is favored because it uses alloy 825 as the base material. The material is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy system with excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and can effectively resist hydrogen sulfide, chloride ions and various acidic corrosive media. Because of this, the coil can still maintain excellent stability in harsh environments such as offshore platforms, sour gas wells and fine chemical feeding systems.
MTSCO's subsidiary factory Siri Tubing specializes in the production of welded coils, capillaries, control pipelines and multi-core tubes, and has complete manufacturing qualifications for international standards such as ASTM, EN, and DIN. In a recent project, we delivered a batch of welded coils using ASTM B704 standard and N08825 material, with a size of 12.7×1.65mm and a single coil length of 4,200 meters. The customer highly recognized its performance and stability.

The Stream Factory can produce welded coils up to 33,000 feet long. The products can also be coated with a variety of plastic materials according to needs, and are flexibly adapted to various complex construction and operating environments. In terms of quality, we always adhere to the strict selection of raw materials, give priority to purchasing high-quality steel from well-known manufacturers such as POSCO, Outokumpu, TSINGSHAN, etc., strictly implement material certification documents (MTC) review and double PMI material identification to ensure source quality.
From welding to cold drawing, to bright annealing and terminal plastic sealing, the Creek Factory is controlled by experienced technical teams and QC quality inspectors at every key production node, and the whole process is recorded through process flow cards to ensure that the quality of the whole process is traceable.
All welded coil products must undergo 100% water pressure testing (normal pressure is 40MPa, up to 100MPa) before leaving the factory, supplemented by non-destructive testing methods such as ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current testing (ET) and hardness testing (HT). MTSCO will continue to rely on the manufacturing strength of the Creek Factory to provide global customers with reliable coil products to help cope with various extreme operational challenges.
